among other mortal consciousness symbols, some vulgar sexually but in a fascinating sense to me. Nicholson Baker became a millionaire many times over and gained worldwide notoriety & prestige with his 1993 erotic novel “The Fermata.” I was very affected by it in my 30’s when I gained access. I cant show you or off because you can’t take pictures I there. Not for kids. For lusty 30 somethings methinks, and me for eternity, thx.
Fermata is also the musical notation for holding the plucked guitar note into decay stopping only at or beyond its absolute vanishing point.
