Here and Now, the Bell, Arrived Home
Thich Nhat Hanh taught constantly about the importance of mentally living in the present moment. I use his technique of the bell to center and focus on it in my meditation time. When we are in the moment, he says we have “Arrived home” in our own body.
The Fall of the House of Usher
It was great as usual watching Vincent Price perform. He is unparalleled as an actor in horror. I still don’t quite get the story. Edgar Allan Poe is a bipolar creative genius so I’m sure it’s captivating. I loved this one, check it out and sound off in the comments.

Discoveries of Youth (Kaleidoscope)
Our life memories are not permanent. They disappear like vapors. Remembering them in writing isn’t even close to eternal but it’s closer than just living life unexamined. 🙃 Ponder this, Saturn alone is 5 billion years old. Scientists predict its rings will melt away in 300 million years. Our lives aren’t even a blip on the radar of time. Guess we better get to living while we’re here right? This is a song I wrote and recorded with my then band “63 Lipless Fish” at age 22.
