Wisdom on Women from City Slicker’s “Curly” played by Jack Palance … says it all for me ;)

Mitch: You ever been in love?
Curly: Once. I was driving a herd across the panhandle. Texas. Passed near this little dirt farm right about sundown. Out in the field was this young woman, working down in the dirt. Just about then she stood up to stretch her back. She was wearing a little cotton dress, and the settin’ sun was right behind her, showing the shape that God had give her.
Mitch: What happened?
Curly: I just turned around and rode away.
Mitch: Why?
Curly: I figured it wasn’t gonna get any better than that.
Mitch: But you could have been, you know…with her.
Curly: Been with lots of women.
Mitch: Yeah, but you know, she could have been the love of your life.
Curly: She is.

Aesthetically pleasing she is.

One Should be Proud of Oneself for Setting Love’s Sail Forward my Good Mateys!

Some people, I’ve seen this, do not have the cognitive ability to see they are wrong. The closest they get to awareness is self-pity and regret for what they feel they have suffered in the instance where they are told they are wrong.

Though they do cry Oscar worthy tears for their own pain, they do not like themselves so to them your “self-love” talk is asenine. Love yourself and let that be enough to walk away.

Courtesy of Peter Paul & Mary:

There is a ship and she sails the sea
She’s loaded deep, as deep can be
But not as deep as the love I’m in
I know not if I sink or swim
I leaned my back against an oak
Thinking it was a trusty tree
But first it bent and then it broke
Just as my love proved false to me
Oh, love is gentle, and love is kind
The sweetest flower when first it’s new
But love grows old and waxes cold
And fades away like the mornin’ dew
The water is wide, I cannot get o’er
Neither have I the wings to fly
Give me a boat that can carry two
And both shall row my love and I

Last, don’t try to save them, they’re adults that choose their own path (often stubbornly) 24/7 365 just as everyone has to. You’ve chosen to love yourself, you’ve chosen right. “One Should be Proud of Oneself for Setting Love’s Sail Forward my Good Mateys!” ❤️ Damien Riley

Ps I know it’s hard. I’m gonna go cry now. Why are some people like this? 😿

‘‘Twas the legs that snared me.”

Discoveries of Youth (Kaleidoscope)

Most young people about 15 to say 22 are unable to imagine their own mortality or their own death. I certainly fell into this young man’s syndrome when I was in high school and right after high school I joined a band. This was the first song I wrote for that band called The 63 lip was fish who are still around and we’re hoping to play at a venue near you know of a place where we’d like to play let me know have a good day

Deliberate Hands, Held Up High

Deliberacy while I’m alive is come on down and make the stand. My hands are held up high. ❤️

I got a thought about being deliberate. It’s ironic how I try to let go 24/365 as a tao Buddhist. Try? Opposite of let go? Amazing.

Maybe a new song concept? Wrote it down in my idea journal.

Album concept? Wish they sold vanilla cigs.

Went to Smoker’s Paradise in Hesperia. They were closed.

Deliberation is my next Album’s name?

Then “The Stand” came on my radio. NoT the new Alarm, the one from 1979-1990 (Last Album “RAW”)

Oh baby just like that.

Deliberately is a good contender.

Deliberate Hands, Held Up High. ?

It’s Not Dark Yet but,
