In the Mouth of Madness, 1994 – ★★★★★

Here’s one all horror fans should see, right away! It’s the idea of an author and a rabid fan coming in contact in the real world. It’s a Stephen King novel adaptation and by nw everyone should know King ia the King of book to screen adaptations. They just work! The man is a genius and careful magician with his words.

Also showcased in tis film is the acting talent of Sam Neill. He plays the investigator trying to find the author. What he finds is a “fake town” from the novel that has come to life. The efects are practical and minimal compared to modern horror. In spite of that, it really reminded me of how great a horror can be without all the cgi of our current times. I give this one a perfect score. Your thoughts?!
